CLINIC SECURITY OFFICER (PER DIEM)

 

The Clinic Security Officer, under direct supervision of the Assistant Director and the general supervision of the Director of Methadone Services, and in consultation with the Supervisor of Clinic Security, serves as a member of the security staff at the clinic.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum one year experience in a security position preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

 

Hours: 5am-10am, 10am-2:30pm (Mon.-Fri.); and 6am-12:30pm (Sat. & Sun.)

CLINICIAN (RESIDENTIAL SERVICES)

 

Residential Services Division Clinician Provides evaluation and clinical services to adult residents within APT residential services who are seeking treatment for substance abuse related concerns.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:   Licensed MSW, LADC, LPC, MFT  by the  State of Connecticut.  Two years of substance abuse treatment  experience is required.  Experience in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of addictive and psychiatric disorders, and working in residential treatment is preferred.

 

HOURS:            37.5 hours per week

PSYCHIATRIST

 

The Staff Psychiatrist is responsible for the psychiatric care of patients in the APT  clinics.  Provides direct services and clinical supervision and performs related administrative services.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:  M.D. degree and Connecticut License.  Board Certified or Board eligible in Psychiatry.  Demonstrate ability to work with multi-disciplinary team.

The Rehabilitation Counselor 11 serves as a member of a multidisciplinary team providing outpatient services to clients in the Opiate Replacement Treatment Program.

Medical Staff Coordinator

 

Responsible for assisting the Practice Manager for Clinical Operations with the communication of critical information to the medical staff regarding coding, documentation and compliance issues, and is responsible for the coordination of the medical, executive and professional staff of the organization.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: Requires a minimum of 5 years experience in a clinic, hospital or managed care setting.  Extensive knowledge of commercial insurance and entitlements, authorization procedures, reimbursement, coding documentation and collection practices.

Technician

 

The substance abuse technician serves as a member of a multidisciplinary team to provide clinic coverage during medicating hours and provides back up services to the clinical staff.

Research Assistant

 

The Research Assistant will with conducting the randomized clinical trail assessing the efficacy of two 12 week parenting interventions for Mothers enrolled on outpatient substance abuse treatment that are caring for infants and toddlers. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a Human Health Services and experience working in a clinical and/or research setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Intake/Admissions Supervisor

 

Is responsible for assisting the Practice Manager for Clinical Operations with the overall Business Management

of clinical operations, with emphasis on operations at ASC and ACC.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:BA in Health CareManagement or BS in Business Management; or

 equivalent experience and education combination.

Minimum of 5 years experience supervising employees in a clinic, hospital or rehabilitation setting or equivalent

combination of education and experience.  Preferred:  marketing and accounting experience.
