- Provides methadone
maintenance services to opioid addicted individuals at three
sites within the City of New Haven. Specialized services are
available to women and HIV-infected individuals (see below).

- Provides outpatient
substance abuse and treatment with a special focus on
cocaine. The clinic emphasizes treatment for traditionally
under-served populations, specifically minorities and women.

- APT Residential Services
Division provides a long-term structured drug free environment with
programs specific for Adults and for Adolescents. The COPE
School is fully accredited as a special education program by
the Connecticut State Board of Education.

- Assists recovering
substance abusers reentering the workplace through
vocational assessment and evaluation; work adjustment;
vocational counseling; job development; job placement; and
support groups.

- The APT Foundation excepts
SAGA, Medicaid; and some private insurance. A sliding scale
based on income is available for self-pay individuals.
